Speakers
Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett
Author & Director of Silent Unity
Rev. Linda Martella-Whitsett Linda has a Bachelor of Arts in leadership from Bellevue University. She joined Unity World Headquarters in 2017 as vice president of Silent Unity®. Linda is and ordained Unity minister who also served on the Unity Board of Directors and is a licensed Unity teacher. She was senior minister at Unity Church of San Antonio, Texas, for 13 years and served in various roles at the Unity Church of Omaha for more than 17 years. Rev. Linda is a highly regarded role model in the Unity Movement who has taught classes at Unity Village, as well as other Unity churches. She has also mentored other Unity Ministers in Unity's Field Licensing Ministerial Training Program.
She is the author of "How to Pray Without Talking to God" (2011) and "Divine Audacity" (2015). Her latest book, "This Life is Yours" (2021) she co-authored with her daughter, Alicia Whittset. All her books are available on Amazon.com
Rev. James Gaither
Author
Rev. James Gaither has been a Unity Minister since 1979. He has a M.A. in Philosophy from the University of Kansas, where he also took Doctoral courses. He has a Doctorate from Holos University. Jim served in two churches, in Collinsville, IL for 5 years and New York, NY for 8 years. He was a professor at the Unity seminary for 20 years specializing in Metaphysics, theology and history of religion. He currently serves as an adjunct professor for Unity Worldwide Spiritual Institute, Unity Urban Ministerial School, Holos University Graduate Seminary, and Osher Lifelong Learning Institute through the University of Kansas. Jim is has been writing regularly for "Unity Magazine" since 1981 and has authored two books: "The Essential Charles Fillmore: A Guide to Practical Mysticism and Metaphysics" (2020) and "The Hidden Realm of God: the Historical Jesus and His Healing Philosophy" (2014, available through Amazon.com).
