Prayer Requests

Please feel free to call our office (330-928-2108) or contact us via email (unitychapel@sbcglobal.net) with your prayer requests.  Our dedicated prayer team will hold you in prayer, both privately and as a group. Upon request, a member of our prayer team will also be glad to pray with you over the phone. 

You can also call Unity Chapel of Light's DIAL-A-PRAYER service, 330-928-2142, to listen to a recorded prayer of support and comfort.

Our Highwatch Volunteers
Highwatch volunteers are specially trained in compassionate listening.  A volunteer is available after each Sunday service to pray privately with you, one on one, or to listen to your concerns/needs, or simply to sit in peaceful silence with you in our our beautiful, cozy prayer room. 

Chaplain Visits
Our team of trained chaplains will be happy to visit and pray with you or a loved one, at home or in the hospital, on request.  Please call the church office (330-928-2108) to request the services of a chaplain.

Prayer and Meditation

Unity teaches that each person is a unique expression of God created with sacred worth. Unity emphasizes the creative power of thought in our life experience. When we take personal responsibility to choose life affirming thoughts, words, and actions, we experience a more fulfilling and abundant life.

Meditation is the process of listening to the "still small voice" of God within us. Join us at 6:30 each Wednesday evening for a beautiful hour of meditation. We also have a portion of each Sunday service dedicated to meditation.

Affirmative prayer is the highest form of creative thought and includes the release of negative thinking as well as holding in mind statements of spiritual truth. Prayer and meditation heighten our awareness and thereby transform lives.


The Daily Word

Harmony
I am filled with the love of God and live in harmony with all humankind. When I am in harmony with myself, I am attuned to the spirit of God. I am aware of my connection to higher consciousness, and I face challenges with a positive attitude.

To maintain this inner harmony, I practice prayer and keep a conscious connection to Source. Maintaining my own internal harmony allows me to reach out to others with kindness and understanding. I develop compassion and create connections with those around me.

With my intention set on peace and harmony, I honor differences and share love with all. I am filled with the love of God and live in harmony with all humankind.
