Our Youth Education Program is for children ages 4 years through 12th grade, and takes place during the Sunday church service at 10 AM. Childcare is available from a certified, experienced provider for infants through 3 years during the service .
What to expect when you visit us…
- Children begin by sitting with their parents in the sanctuary
- Early in the service, the children will be called to the platform for the “Children’s Chat”
- After the chat, children and their teachers walk to their classrooms in the Education Wing, just down the hall from the sanctuary.
- Immediately after the service, around 11:15am, parents are to pick up children in their classroom.
Current News
Light and Love of God (4 - 6 years) – Children hear a Bible story each week and have the opportunity to participate in a hands on craft or activity.
Power and Presence of God (1st - 5th grade) – Lessons focus on the teachings of Jesus, incorporating one of the Twelve Powers and the Beatitudes each month.Uniteens (6th – 8th grade) – Uniteens are exploring their God-Selves. This month they are looking at Creation in Mind! They are also working on fundraising and completing service hours, requirements for attending their Spring retreat.
Y.O.U. (Youth of Unity, 9th – 12th grade) - The Y.O.U.ers are currently reading and discussing “The I of the Storm: Embracing Conflict, Creating Peace” by Gary Simmons, in preparation for their rally in June.

YOU'ers attend regional rallies / retreats twice yearly and pay for their own registration and transportation. Some of the ways our teens are raising funds are by baking and selling cookies, and by preparing lunch and serving it to the congregation on the Sunday of our Annual Meeting.
